Camp Clear Creek

When I was in the 5th grade for my birthday I went to Camp Clear Creek, which my birthday was in November 7, 2008. It was a class field trip. I was so sad because my family was not going to celebrate my birthday only my sister’s birthday because we have the same birthday but we are just 6 years apart so I felt sad. The day we went we arrived and gotten in to group with others schools there was 5 groups. The names of the groups were named by animals. The names were bear, raccoon, rattlesnakes, bobcat, and the last one was and the last one is coyote. When we got into our groups we all went to our cabin choused and we some to share bunk beds. I choused this girl named Jackie. She went to the same school as I did. She slept on the bottom bed and I slept in the top bed it was so fun because I have never slept on a top bunk bed. When we choose a person to share bunk beds the lady’s that were going to be supper visor us gave us our bunk beds and then we started to unpack. When we all finished we went to the cafeteria to go eat lunch. Before we got their my friend Darinee had said “Happy Birthday Leslie” which some other girl name Jahira said “it is your birthday” and I sad “Yes”. When we got there one of the people who worked there gave us like a presentation and he said “that every year on our birthday we go around the world one time because that is how long it takes 1 year”. Then he said today is someone’s birthday and he said that if any one knew who it was. Then Jarhira said it was Leslie’s. Then he told me to come up and he told me how many times have you been around the world and I told him 10 times. Then they sang to me happy birthday. When they finished singing happy birthday to me they gave me a brownie with some starbursts. Then the man sad if I will like it know or later and I said later then he went to put it away. When he went too go put it away they started to pass out lunch. I don’t quite what kind of food we had because it was so long ago, but what I remember was the first time I had coffee cake, which I had the first morning there. I can’t remember the schedule we did, but I know that we went hiking about 5 times on was when we came because we had to go hiking down to the cabins. We also went hiking in the morning and we saw the mountains and we studied the plants and trees. We also saw a small water fall and saw insects. I took a camera so I took a lot of pictures. The 3rd hiking trip was my favorite it was the hiking, but at night it was fun we had to choose a partner and I choose my friend named Monica which we both hell because we had to turn off our flash light so that is how we fell down. We hiked up maybe all the way up the mountain. While we where there we stopped and the super visor past out like this mint candy and we had to turn off our flash lights again and put the candy in our mouth and you can see little lights coming out of our mouths it was very fun, but I didn’t eat the candy I saved it for later which I did eat later on. The next day I had my piece of brownie. It was also going to be the last night so we did allot of things we went hiking and saw more things then we made bracelets and landyerds.we played different games with the people we met we also went to the little small zoo which some of them were rescued by the camp. They super visors taught us a song of bazooka bubble gum it was so fun. The last night it was fun because had a came fire which we all got to gather and had like a play which every team had to make a play about something. The plays where so fun because they where all funny after we all finished we all went to our cabins and went to sleep. The next day was the last day we were all sad because all had a fun time so we had to start packing. When we all finished we had our last hiking trip, but this time we had to go to the school bus. While we where hiking it started to sprinkle so we hurried so we don’t get wet. When we got there we all took a picture together of both of the schools then we got on the bus and went back to school which to my it was a long way. When we got there my mom was already waiting for me, which I was so happy to see my mom. When we got their my mom took me out so I can go home and relaxs, but before that we went to jack in the boxes to go get which I told my mom how much fun I had. When I got home I opened my birthday present, which I got a t-shirt and I got money. I was so happy and I had so much fun.
